The renowned NOWNESS Private View series features international artists by highlighting their inspirations and creative processes. Combines sensual imagery captured at their exhibitions, studios and archival spaces, the series leads the audience into the eccentric worlds of these creative masterminds.

In this episode of Private View, Coco featured the prominent Chinese artist Caofei at her UCCA Exhibition: Staging the Era. Taking inspiration from the film “Night At the Museum”, the team casted the artist as a musuem janitor as she experience all characters from her artworks come dramtically to life. 

Casting the artist’s students and former collaborators, each character -- from the pregnant lady, to watermelon deliverer, to singer, janitor ---  is initmately connected with a specific work, constructing an otherworldly experience for the viewer.
