For the fifth chapter of NOWNESS China’s Elemental series, British filmmaker Toby Amies turns his delicate gaze toward the intersection of nature and scientific inquiry. Following the passage of time, we embark on a microscopic journey tracing the Red Camellia from living plant to active skincare ingredient, uncovering within the botanical kingdom a source of inspiration for the future.
